I wrote an article about Ken’s article using John MacArthur vs. Erwin McManus to show how apostate McManus was. My article was pretty lame, but the comments are pretty awesome – particularly the one from Jonathan Reinhardt, to which Ken has not yet responded.

THe scarriest thing to me is that Ken euates “religion” and his faith…

Jesus cam e to save us out of vain religions… and even today as Ken points out… Christianity as a religion is very vain…

Yet, Ken is saying Christianity is not “following Jesus” but a religion? He is against freeing others from the bondage of religions? He seems to fint more of an Islamic mindset than that of a true follower of Jesus Christ.

btw… did you know that by Ken’s own definition of the Trinity… he affirms that there are Three Seperate gods?

Joe,

I think this “miss-ive” of Ken’s falls into the category of giving someone enough rope to hang himself. It’s ones like this, and like when he harped on the startup of Mars Hill Bible Church that Ken becomes so obviously ludicrous as to completely discredit himself, even to the novice reader.

Only the truly jaded, blind or idiotic can read an article like this one of Ken’s and come away believing him – which makes discrediting him quite easy.

Good job, Joe…

Wow!! I don’t understand how people can claim to know the Lord and be so filled with hatred for other people. How can you despise someone so much that you lie about them. Erwin has an excellent point about christianity. I am glad you did a rebutal to what was posted at Christan Research. Otherwise Ken get s away with lying and destroying the bible and good men of faith. I do not claim to be emergent, however I do not see any thing wrong with being emergent. I do find something wrong living your life to research other people and tear them apart for your own personal gratification. Ken needs to examine his heart and figure out why he has to slam other people in effort to build himself up. This is what he does, I don’t know if he realizes is it but he slams other people all the time to make himself look good.
