This Just In: The Apostle Paul and Jesus Fail to Make the Grade at Christian Research Network
In a shocking revelation Jesus is quoted by the Apostle John as saying that all men will know who His disciples are by their love for one another. The apostle Paul takes a little further stating that we must speak the truth in love. Even the Apostle Peter (who is lovingly quoted and used as justification for a lack of honest reporting and brotherly love at some places) says we should have brotherly kindness and love. Oi Vay! Indeed!
Hey Ken, we don’t care if you call out false prophets just have a little integrity (a concept you’ll find in Scripture, too) when you do it. Don’t misquote, leave out quotes and out right lie, please! It’s wrong. It doesn’t honor God. If you really believe the Bible you say you read, you would realize that doing damage to the body of Christ through out-right deciet is the very thing the Apostle Peter is talking about in the passage you quoted.

Joe condescends, “If you really believe the Bible you say you read, you would realize that doing damage to the body of Christ through out-right deciet is the very thing the Apostle Peter is talking about in the passage you quoted.”
Uh-huh; yes, Joe he is. And notice that he minces no words in sternly reproving them…which is my point exactly. Thank you for making it stronger.
I fear that this site has become little more than an anti-Silva site. I understand that his “ministry” is anything but. However, Ken’s corner of the web is a small one, and unworthy of this much attention.
This is purely subjective. Of course that is what you accuse Ken of. lol
the ebod
Ecumenical blog of deceit.
Brotherly love is for the brothers.
Wow, Chris, are you saying I’m not saved? Did you read the whole Erwin McManus post? I’d love to hear you explain Ken’s tactics there.
“Brotherly love is for the brothers.”
Are you suggesting that the Word says we are only supposed to show brotherly love to the saved?
Oh my, oh my. If taken for what you said, that means that those that Ken (and/or you) accuse, slander, speak ill of, etc. (including Rob Bell, Erwin McManus, Donald Miller, Dan Kimball, Brian Mclaren, several people on this site, and many others)are not brothers. That’s a bold thing to say, and I hope it’s not what you meant.
And, why don’t you and Ken take time to sincerely answer some of the questions being asked and accusations being made, instead of having written attacks at each other? Neither you or Ken answered the questions I asked about Donald Miller, 1 John, and Matthew 25:31-46. Ken didn’t even answer the simple question of whether or not he read Donald Miller’s book. Please take time to answer questions honestly and sincerely.

So Ken, it seems that Joe is then justified in his outrage with your lies and deceit.
Todd,
I agree with you – and I think this particular turn has come because Ken decided to “grace us with his presence” recently, and has post some particularly spectacular bits of misinformation/slander the past several days.
I’m out of town this week with little internet access, but will be posting some non-Ken articles in the near future (along with some at Fishing).
I’ve posted some “non-Ken/CRN” article at my own BLOG and have some coming for here and there. But lately, his attacks on people with just flat out lies had to be addressed.
Ken,
“Uh-huh; yes, Joe he is. And notice that he minces no words in sternly reproving them…which is my point exactly. Thank you for making it stronger.”
Please! You are not an Apostle. the apostles were very transparent people who mentioned their life long journey. They talk about their short comings, struggles, high times and low. You enjoy lying, slandering, and tearing down good men of faith. The Apostles loved one another. You fail to show this. Please do not act like you are an Apostle.
Here our some great verses you should consider. they describe your life, they describe my life. I am sharing them with you because I think you fail to see that the things you accuse other people of are huge sin issues in your own life.
Matthew 7
3″Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
You fail to show brotherly love, you attack, and tear other people down in attempt to build yourself up. Share your view all you want. People will respect you more if they truly believe that you were rebuking someone in love. You show no love when you talk about the people you attack. I read your stuff and I can feel the hate you have for them. I am begging you to examine your heart and your motives for why you write the things you do.
