Check out this tabloid-esque caption from CRN

America’s Mega-Pastor and PDL Pope Rick Warren claims he is also pastor to billionaire Rupert Murdoch who has been steadily expanding his companies further into the distribution of pornography. But wait until you see in this new piece from Apprising Ministries what else our Christian “brother” Rupert Murdoch is responsible for making available to the public.

That compared with this

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Check out the far fetched article. It seems like Ken can’t let this one go.

OK, I got nuthin. . .

Oh! Wait – “Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.” (Eph 5:11-13).

I am all for exposing Murdock if he calls himself a believer. Basically saying that Rick Warren supports the Satanic Bible because of his affiliation with Murdock is rediculous!

I’ve got a post up about this over at While Rome Burns, if you’d like to check it out.

Coop,

I have to agree with you. If it’s wrong for one it’s wrong for all. Who is pastor to whom has no bearing what-so-ever on the heart of the issue which is “being unequally yoked”.

And further, it’s a little more complicated that first appears. It’s HarperCollins, Zondervan’s sister company under News Corp, that publishes the Satanic Bible, not Zondervan, although Zondervan has had other issues with conservatives. That Murdock is the CEO, or whatever, of a publishing conglomeration that does publish inargueably very un-Christian material is also another issue all in itself. But back to the original topic, if Warren should boycott so should McArthur and anyone else involved. Who’s whose pastor is a moot point to this argument in my opinion.

HJ, would you mind posting all of that at While Rome Burns?
