This post from Ingrid Schlueter is again as baffling as it gets. To start with she implies some prophetic anointing.

“I would like to share from the heart today about what I really believe the Lord is saying to remnant believers in the West.”

Notice that the prophetic communication is to the remnant and not the wayward. And there is a reason for that.

“We can’t stop the blasphemers, the wicked men claiming to represent Christ, the false pastors and shepherds who are misleading souls.”

The prophetic instruction from God assures us that we cannot stop these things so God must be through with all of them. God is done going after the one, the ninety-nine will do now. But wait, here is the reason, and a good reason at that, why we cannot stop the backsliding of God’s church.

“I believe the great delusion is here, and it is being sent by God.”

See, it’s God who is deceiving all these men, not the devil or their own flesh. And when God is deceiving what can you do, you don’t want to be found working against God, right? How thankful we should be that we weren’t elected to be decieved by God.

But the baffling prophetic annunciation continues.

“We can continue to cry out and warn.”

What? Warn? Why? Get out of the way, God is sending a GREAT delusion so His will is not warning them, they are deceived by God’s own will. You might warn people who are in the “snare of the devil” (II Tim.2:26), but what can you do to people who are deceived by God? Leave them alone, God wants it that way. And can God’s Holy Spirit work against Himself? Can we pray that God will deliver them from the deception He Himself has sent?

This type of utter doctrinal misrepresentation answers many questions about why people feel like they do about other brothers and sisters in Christ, and in fact, people in general. God Himself deceives people then anoints others to warn them. The journey has many strange sights.

This message has been brought to you by people who love deceived brethren and believe God wants them restored. Or as we are otherwise known, “The Hate Site”.

Rick,

I read that post last night and was hoping someone from .info would dissect it.

It is troubling to me that there is such a myopic view of the church on the part of Ingrid. Even more troubling is that the “Quiet Place” is now the avenue in which Ingrid chooses to disseminate her brand of religion. Personally I think that I would be edified if she would share about what God is doing in her life. Then refrain telling everybody what she feels God is telling her about other people.

For Ingrid what God is doing in her life is what she feels God is telling her about other people.

Isaiah 6:
9And he said, “Go, and say to this people:

“‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand;keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’ 10 Make the heart of this people dull,
and their ears heavy,
and blind their eyes;
lest they see with their eyes,
and hear with their ears,
and understand with their hearts,
and turn and be healed.”
11Then I said, “How long, O Lord?”And he said:”Until cities lie waste
without inhabitant,
and houses without people,
and the land is a desolate waste,
12and the LORD removes people far away,
and the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.
13 And though a tenth remain in it,
it will be burned again,
like a terebinth or an oak,
whose stump remains
when it is felled.”
The holy seed is its stump.

Acts 28:
25And disagreeing among themselves, they departed after Paul had made one statement: “The Holy Spirit was right in saying to your fathers through Isaiah the prophet:
26 “‘Go to this people, and say, You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.
27 For this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears they can barely hear,
and their eyes they have closed;
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and understand with their heart
and turn, and I would heal them.’
28Therefore let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will listen.”

Matthew 13:
13This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. 14Indeed, in their case the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled that says:

“‘You will indeed hear but never understand,
and you will indeed see but never perceive.
15For this people’s heart has grown dull,
and with their ears they can barely hear,
and their eyes they have closed,
lest they should see with their eyes
and hear with their ears
and understand with their heart
and turn, and I would heal them.’
16But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear.

2 Thess 2:
9The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Acts 15:
13After they finished speaking, James replied, “Brothers, listen to me. 14 Simeon has related how God first visited the Gentiles, to take from them a people for his name. 15And with this the words of the prophets agree, just as it is written,
16 “‘After this I will return, and I will rebuild the tent of David that has fallen;I will rebuild its ruins,
and I will restore it,
17that the remnant of mankind may seek the Lord,
and all the Gentiles who are called by my name,
says the Lord, who makes these things 18 known from of old.’

Romans 11:
2 God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel? 3 “Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have demolished your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life.” 4But what is God’s reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” 5So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace. 6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.

All Israel, i.e. the church which is both jew and gentile is a remnant. The remnant is a type of the tithe. The tithe represents not 10%, but the very essence of where it comers from, therefore the tithe, the holy seed,ie. the stump represents the entire tree.
It is obvious from 2 Thess 2 along with the Isaiah passage, quoted by both Jesus and Paul, tells us that God keeps things hidden from those whom He wills.
Please Chris L. don’t tell me that this is about making an informed decision, as it logically follows that what you do not understand, you will not receive/bother with/ care about.
If God keeps understanding from them, then they can only reject the message. If God sends the delusion, then who can make them see? At the same time God told Isaiah to go and speak the Word, even though no one would receive it.
(Thank you very much Lord.)
Many are hearing and seeing. Not many understand or perceive.
The exile in Babylon was God’s mercy for Israel as it preserved the remnant, and allowed the apostasy to die off.
We are in Babylon. I am tired of hearing about the great end times harvest” as the Scriptures say there will be a falling away.

I see a falling away also, Chris P.. But God is not at the deceptive helm, Satan is.

Here’s what the author implied about me.
“We are wrestling against darkness that portrays itself as light very effectively.”

Here’s what the author said about herself.
“who truly follow Jesus will be those from the religious community who will despise your single-minded dedication, your commitment and your refusal to compromise.”

I’m darkness and she’s a commited, uncompromised, dedicated, single minded true follower of Jesus.

Man, that is some comparison.

How can sinners who are TOTALLY DEPRAVED be in need of extra deception? According to Calvin they can never understand anyway, so unless God opens their eyes they will be as deceived as they ever can be.

Why would God send more deception to a sinner who is already TOTALLY DECEIVED and already believes a lie?
There is only one answer to that question, synergism.

I don’t know if there will be great End-Times deception or not. Surely Satan has been deceiving people and will keep on doing so until Christ returns. One thing I can say is that it is seems some Christians get more excited about a great “falling away” than a great harvest. Shouldn’t we all be hoping for a great harvest?

are you harvesting people…actually MAKING DISCIPLES…..or making clones of Brian MeClaren? people who read God’s word would have NO PROBLEM understanding issues like abortion, homosexuality , gay marriage, divorce, worldliness/carnality…..it would be understood from the reading and discipling by the Holy SPirit. Meeting the needs of the poor..physically and spirituallly…..lifting people UP OUT OF THEIR MESS……into a loving, living relationship with Jesus the Savior….setting the captives FREE from the sin-lifestyle so many are accustomed to….is this what you mean by the harvest?

Tamela,

Are you so high on your horse to cast stone on other also saved by the same grace as you… do you have some special faith and grace none of us have?

I am making disciples… Brian McLaren may or may not be a part in that as each person has unique needs when they come to Jesus.

So, who are these people who as you state,

who read God’s word would have NO PROBLEM understanding issues like abortion, homosexuality , gay marriage, divorce, worldliness/carnality

you state this and give to proof of or say who these “people” are.

You also stated this:

…it would be understood from the reading and discipling by the Holy SPirit. Meeting the needs of the poor..physically and spirituallly…..lifting people UP OUT OF THEIR MESS……into a loving, living relationship with Jesus the Savior….setting the captives FREE from the sin-lifestyle so many are accustomed to….is this what you mean by the harvest

?

It is true, yet some have little faith and some big faith and each need ministering to for those needs you mention. It is in the Body of Christ… the Church that we also set captives free. You have over spiritualized Jesus into this “god” that is so far above that no one can even relate to. Yes, Jesus is/was/and will ever be God, yet He was a man… in that we relate in His humanity. We are risen to Life by His very Life.

Much is not most of the emerging conversation is all about just that. reaching people at their needs with Jesus both spiritually and physically. It seems you are not willing to listen to people who as Brian McLaren is, who are deep into doing just what you are saying they are not instead of rejoicing and helping you stand back and cast stone of judgmentalism at them while they do the very thing you preach…

Be Blessed,
iggy
