For those of you who missed it first time around – or wished you had taken your friends (Christian or non-Christian) – the video of ‘Everything is Spiritual’ will be available in early November from Zondervan publishers.  For those of you wondering where the title of the presentation (which runs about 1:45 minutes, but flies by quickly) comes from, here is the relevant clip:

There he goes again with “trajectory hermeunitics” and “Rabbinical understanding”…

My favorite line from the Mark Driscoll “expose”…”

They don’t believe in Jesus so why should I trust what a Rabbi thinks”

Uhhh…Jesus was a Rabbi.

Sorry I’ve listened to the SBTS speech a couple dozen times and I can’t let it go! Maybe next week.

Very funny, Chris. I don’t remember hearing anything in this clip (or in the EIS presentation, as a whole) that referenced ‘trajectory hermeneutics’, though Bell did reference a number of first-century understandings of scripture…

Yeah I know but like I said…I can’t let it go.

I love Rob Bell, Nooma, Velvet Elvis, and Sex God. Not that I elevate him higher than scripture but he has taken me to deeper levels of understanding of scripture. For that I’m appreciative.
