		<description>There&#039;s definitely some good points in that article.  I think it is very easy to confuse pride with discernment, and I mean on all sides.  I know I have to continually check my motives.

A portion of Scripture I think about in regards to the whole thing is 1 Corinthians 8:1-3, which says,

&lt;blockquote&gt;Now about food sacrificed to idols: We know that we all possess knowledge.  Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up. The man who thinks he knows something does not yet know as he ought to know.  But the man who loves God is known by God.&lt;/blockquote&gt;

The right knowledge without love will lead to pride.  Jesus was the smartest man who ever lived, but yet He loved us enough to lay His life down for us.</description>
