Chris – You have shown that one can be anointed to reveal the abject common aspects of our Lord’s earthly entrance without letting coarse language distract us from the glorious teaching. There is much in your post that elicits a second reading in order to consume the mystery. As long as we keep digging we will always see freshness in our revelation.

It is when we stop digging and profess we know it all we fall into pride. Praise God that His plans can take the route of baseness and bring forth His gold!

Blasphemy! How dare you speak so lowly and crudely about God! How dare you insinuate that God emptied Himself and became as nothing on our behalf, in the worst circumstances possible! How dare you say that God uses the weak things of this world to bring Himself glory! How can you dare to go and find the historical context behind the birth of Christ, how dare you shatter my pure and holy view of the Virgin Birth! -dust and sackcloth- ARGHHHHH.
