Do I hate homosexuality? Absolutely, because God does! Do I hate Homosexuals? Abcoluttely not! Do I hate Rick Warren? No way, certainly not! but certainly I hate the way he twist and manipulates scripture and Truth. By the way was it “true” when he adamently denied any video of his little Syrian fiasco?

As far as the Hitler comment, I do not think even Warren would have Hitler come speak at his Church. But would he have Bill or Hillary come and speak? hmmm

After a little bit of searching, I can’t find anything from Saddleback that even mentions TGC.

Basically, the haters will always show up if you’ve defended RW for anything in the past. It comes with the territory…

So let’s see – this is a summit (a meeting where people from multiple backgrounds to discuss a single topic) on the topic of AIDS and the church’s response to it.

As a summit, it’s already obvious that it is not a meeting in which Saddleback tells the world what it thinks about AIDS and the church. I also don’t see Obama on the marquee, and I also note that it says “On the Saddleback campus” to my point.

How about discussing the Golden Compass in this thread, rather than hijacking it to whine and gripe and cast aspersions on a church that – to my knowledge – hasn’t said ‘boo’ on this subject?
