We’ve already had watchdoggies delete and modify posts in the past without notice, post anonymously (or assume different names) here in the comments, and hide behind the "editor" title over at Castle Grayskull, now we’ve got them deliberately obscuring their identities in posted email conversations.

This email exchange concerning Joel Osteen is presented over at Apprising Ministries with the gracious permission of the original author and has been edited slightly to protect their identity. [emphasis mine]

Obviously they’re not hiding Osteen’s identity, so why are they hiding the original emailer’s?  Why can’t watchdoggies just be open and honest about who they are and what they post?  Are they dishonest, or just ashamed?

Ah, more cursing from Timothy Bell. How is it you manage to praise God and curse men with teh same mouth?

Cursing? You call this cursing? You imbecile half-wit!

TB,

Actually, the calling of names, wishing people ill and the like would fall under the Biblical definition of “cursing” – not the speaking/writing of a small list of verboten words…

Or maybe the emails are not even real at all? Who knows since you can’t verify the discussion.

Had my share of discussions in the office, noard meetings, Church meetings where someone said:

We_______________
A number of us________________

If I had a dollar for every time “we” or “a number of us” was actually “one Person” or “one family” or fictional I’d be able to go out for a nice meal with my wife.

I take with a grain of salt “unnamed sources”, “unnamed e-mailers” etc.

Wow.
It’s a transgression to say the “f” word, but we don’t even think of the damage when we call someone “stupid”.

Let’s not let this thread get hijacked by the language issue, gents.

Bruce brings up an important point I think. With the watchdoggies showing a consistent tendency towards lying and slander why should we even consider this as true?

Uhm… Ken is a “pastor”, anointed by God, called out to tell the world of the evils of the Emergent Church…

Also, the fact that you even have to make this point, is part of the legacy of choosing a list of naughty words. Edify someone using those words and you’ll be condemned, tear someone down avoiding those words and you’ll be praised.

I do not see them “ashamed” at all but brazen in their lying and slander and somewhat empowered by it intoxicating elements.

It seems if one has a lying spirit they love to lie. They love to see the results… they embrace it’s evil. I also think that they have justified it by scripture by twisting its meanings by misusing it as in the case of using “clean” but truly abusive language and think that it is not “cursing”.

Yet, it seem agian that instead of discussing this with us they get all defensive and put down others they deem lesser than themselves thus the “insane clowns” comment.

I see that they are not honest and think it gives them that “we are in danger from our enemies so we need to hide our identity” thing… which is a total farce.

I get threats and strange emails that accuse me of all sorts of things… I have a very well know guy how has some sort of tracking search that searches his name and blog and my name and then shows up and claims i am slandering him all the while he really is slandering me everywhere I go.

These are sick people who do not understand nor grasp grace, let alone the damage and harm they do to others. On the plus side I am stronger because of them and can pretty much take anything they dish out and easily point out their flaws and show they have nothing truly against me except their own misconception.

The sickest thing is they claim that they are waring people… but no one outside of their own little cliche, cares what they have to say. So most often they are attracting other people who have the same satanic divisive spirit that the hope to divide the Body of our Lord Jesus… the Church.

Be blessed,
iggy

“You imbecile half-wit!”

Speaking of… what poor grammar!

“Imbecile” and “half-wit” are both nouns.

Try “imbecilic half-wit” or”half-witted imbecile”…

Or how about just “raca”???

Iggy, I only speak for myself not for ODMs. There you go doing the guilt by association stuff you blame ODMs for. Crybabies.

Joe C,
I’m so glad someone else enjoyed that. I would speculate on who’s Skeletor, but I’m afraid I’d end up being Orko.

Tim,

You couldn’t be Orko, you’d screw everything up if that were the case.

But that’s what those from Castle Grayskull say about you anyways…so maybe you are Orko.

However, I find you very capable, lol. Perhaps they’d rather call you Cringer?

Total nerd-tastic time over here. Join the fun….lol

Tim Bell,

I am not even sure what you are talking about… as far as “guilt by association”… those who hide behind some “editor” or “i have hidden the name of the person to protect them” garbage.

Really the only thing that comes out when you speak to me is your own contempt to anyone you disagree with. So don’t go getting up in my cage for your own issues…

By the way I did not blame the ODM’s I blamed Satan… or is he head of the ODM’s you are so found of?!?!?! Is this a new revelation that you have let us know about!? LOL!

Might as well quit coming here anymore. Why waste my time with this dog vomit?

We’d prefer the term “Battle Cat vomit”, to keep with the theme, you know.

Tim Bell, do you operate by the Power of Grayskull rather than God?

lol

tim b.
why do you need to defend tantrum throwers?

23   iggy    http://wordofmouthministries.blogspot.com/
November 16th, 2007 at 7:34 pm

Tim B.

Are you like the God you serve?

You are a sad person… to call another human being who believes in Jesus “not worth YOUR spit” and “dog vomit”. You forget I was worth Jesus being placed on a cross to die for.

You also show contempt not for me or Tim, but for the kindness of God.

You are in grave sin Tim B… and as God stated to Cain, “sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it.”

Are watchdoggies dishonest or ashamed?

I might suggest that they are the former and should be the latter. :)
