If we agree that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, what difference does it make about the unseen workings of that process? So the reformed guy says God elected us and we have no choice, so what’s your point? If that is true then it is true regardless who believes it or not.

And how can you come to that conclusion and be prideful about it? When an Arminian argues with a Calvinist the reformed guy sometimes takes the same demeanor like a believer arguing with a lost person.

The Papists will inform you that you not a part of the Body of Christ if you are not united with the “one, true, holy apostolic church.”
The disciples of TULIP will do something worse if you reject their peculiar doctrines – they will deny you even have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit.

All cults set-up this false dichotomy: Adhere to US/Our Doctrine/Church/Method or you are lost.

Anything that is not in agreement with Reformed Theology as explained per the TULIP “Doctrines of Grace” is dismissed as heresy. When engaging those who are devoted to TULIP, it helps to understand this.

It really is that simple.

Lance, Turkey Day is slang for Thanksgiving, which is a major American holiday. The point is supposed to be to take a day to remember everything that we've been blessed with, but mostly it has evolved into a day of food and football.
