But at least he's now referring to "the emerging church", instead of the more actionable "ecumenical church of deceit". :)

There are thousands of Ken's in America pastoring little Churches. In my Baptist days I went to , and preached at, Pastor's Fellowships where "like minded" men gathered together. Small minded but same minded. King James Only. Hyper-separationists. Rampant legalism.

When you always hang with people who think just like you, you think you are right. If the only books read are from "approved" authors you will always think the same way and you will be strengthened in your resolve.

I am very glad that I found out the body of Christ is much broader than my little sect or group. Diversity is wonderful (and challenging at times)

I have a somewhat serious question.

Does Ken really take himself seriously?

I mean even when there is a possibility of discourse he responds with trite and cliche phrases that don't respond to the questions. His "research" is terrible. And according to sitemeter his hits basically come from 6-7 places. Iggy and myself are 2 of those. Technoratti lists most of the trackbacks as being opposed to AM.

Again how can he take himself seriously? His so called 'minions' seem to be mostly a small minority. He "pastors" a church with 3 people in it. He doesn't get hired for pulpit supply. And he's never asked to come and do apologetic work.

At some point you would/should probably be evaluating the fruitfulness of your ministry.

My two cents as they say.

Joe, I'm truly sorry. :( Can't afford it. Tell him Merry Christmas for me anyway.

Were you laughing or having a heart attack?

You owe my employer a new MacBook Pro. I just shot hot tea out my nose all over the keyboard.

BTW, Ken leads off that article by saying, "O I just love the Lord’s sense of humor", since the entire 'humor' was created out of thin air, could it be that Ken doesn't really get God? Or maybe he's just been talking to himself all this time.

Well,

Since now Ken admits his "research" is only "opinions" we need not worry of taking him serious anymore. I think that if these are as he now states, "opinions" then he can go back in the shadows of those who are irrelevant to real researchers and those who have real critiques...

Of course... those are just my opinions... and in the big picture do not mean much... or at least as little as Ken's "opinions" however poorly cut and pasted they are.
