Recently we recieved a letter from a congregation in our denomination that’s in New Jersey.

The letter was basically a plea to help them restore their dilapitated buildings. The reason they needed help from other churches? Their church had dwindled to an aging congregation (90% retirees) of only 32 members. They had two full time pastors (Both Dr.’s). The reason they felt that the denomination should help? Their church cemetary had the graves of some founding members of the Chrisitian Reformed Church in America buried there. That and a statue from a famous Dutch artist.

How much did they want? 15 million!
