Dear A Little Leaven,
We know that the holiday season can be extremely busy. Further, we know that people often think we are enemies, when it is our ideology that is in opposition. We’re sure you are really swell guys, who just want to have your “Museum of Idolotry” to help the church wake up. I even confess that I have gone there and laughed sometimes, been sickened sometimes and sometimes I’ve just shook my head.
Because the holidays are so busy, and we want to show some semblance of unity, I offer you this link to chocolate for
John
Calvin
I know: idolatry! I mean, were they out of easter bunnies? Well the link is here and I’ve included a picture for you. Enjoy

Foreordained to be in your stockings!
As an additional element to these delicacies, only one of the 12 pieces of candy has been chosen to be eaten. The rest are disgusting and repulsive enemies of the Baker and will soon be cast into the oven again, in accordance with the Baker’s inerrant Cookbook.
You should try the Michael Servetus candy – extra crispy!
We ought to include this nugget, then, as well:

“Predestined for your bookshelf”…
Or how about the New Improved Lysol Disinfectant: Guaranteed to kill the offensive germs left by those in other Synods.
I have a special holiday announcement to make: I have an ESV Bible coming to me in the mail. I cannot wait!! Does that make me a nerd?
Better yet, the rules for eating the candy are that the owner gets to choose 2 of the 12 pieces to be eaten.
That way you get to play God even with your holiday treats.
Joe,
No, but you might actually be able to discern through the muck that your Pastor preaches!
RE: #8
John, for all you know, he’s the one who got for me.
That would make him a real nice guy!
Pastorboy,
I assume by that comment it means you didn’t listen to last weeks sermon.
Neil
Neil,
PB hates anything other than his own brand of “Conditional Grace” theology he espouses and condones from Ken and Ingrid and whoever else he agrees with.
Bad theology based on error of self righteousness… and then proudly leading others astray with them.
iggy
I believe in conditional grace too. The condition?
Faith.
See Iggy, this is where you hurt your cause man. You say on another thread that you’re not going to interact with PB anymore and almost every other reader here offers up a prayer of praise. We want you to comment, just not interact with him. Then you come to this thread and go after him. You escalate as opposed to de-escalate. Don’t give into his way man, you’re better and bigger than that.
That brings up an interesting question. What theological errors, in the classic sense, are the typical ADM’s guilty of?
As far as I can tell they are orthodox, they just have a very very ethnocentric view of God. They have, in a very real sense, created a tribal God who is only pleased by their own praxis… but aside from that, I mean…
Which is kinda funny since that means they pretty much share the same theology of Warren, Bell, Kimball, etc…
Do ya suppose it’ll take some of their joy away when they find themselves spending eternity with these guys?
OK – too many questions… obviously time for sleep.
I agree with Joe… don’t escalate… ignore…
One base assumption that God was not fully satisfied at the Cross. That “sinners” are still at the hands of an angry God”… to state God is angry in spite of the finished works of Christ negates what Jesus has done. This is the foundational error that leads to other issues as one must “fear” the Lord. It assumes that fear is the motivator of our faith instead of love.
These are 2 of many other issues that cause the error I speak of. If one serves an angry God and has fear of punishment, then to attack those that one deems more sinful relieves (though falsely) the pressure to perform. It is easier to gloat over someone whose sin is easier to see than to deal with the person in the mirror.
