Among a number of wonderful gifts, I received David Flusser’s The Sage from Galilee: Rediscovering Jesus’ Genius and Judaism of the Second Temple Period (Vol. 1) : Qumran and Apocalypticism, which have moved to the top of my current reading list (along with another go through of James Harriott’s All Creatures Great and Small…)
