I wonder how her view squares with the doctrine of "total depravity"? I know, don't confuse me with facts.

Anyone else struck by Ingrid's priorities in her recent "hall of shame" awards? She writes:

It appears that the unsaved and unregenerate sometimes have a sense of moral decency apparently missing in those claiming to be Christians

She also writes here:

Mark Driscoll should be shunned by decent people everywhere. There are Mormons and certainly Muslims who have more of a sense of decency and propriety in sexual matters than he does.

It appears Ingrid has a lot in common with Mormons, Muslims, and the "unsaved and unregenerate" than she does with actual Christians. She also has something else in common with them.

A complete and utter failure to care if any of them know about Jesus.

At least that's all I can assume since she's doing her best to undermine ministries like Mars Hill Church, and Great Lakes Church who are bringing Jesus to people in their communities. Just read through the comments on the news article she posted and you'll see several testimonies from individuals who are now following Jesus.

So congrats Ingrid, and continue sallying forth with your horde of Mormons, Muslims, and the unsaved and unregenerate against the work of the church to "baptize and make disciples in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit".

Let’s just limit it to who takes just the three Sermon on the Mount chapters seriously?

Answer - No one.

Oh, except for the emerging church...

Bo,

And good little puppets like Pastor Boy won’t say a thing.

Who takes the Bible seriously again?

And in no way will he even grasp what you are getting at... the strings are just too tangled around him... either he has no ability to think for himself... or has never been freed to do so... or has no real desire to do so.

it is just easier for some to let other do all the real hard things like think for you.

Bo,

So you’d be especially opposed to self-proclaimed Christian leaders who were divorced taking a public role?

He just won't get this... he won't even state that SoL is a ministry or not...

-what role is there for someone who has been divorced?

Oh the ADMs answered that one a long time ago.

There are no roles the divorced can't take part in. In fact, if someone is divorced then they can even assume the role of usurping the power of elders as Steve Camp and Ingrid Schleuter has.

We have various and seperate issues on the proverbial table...

- should a believer marry a non-believer?

- what are the grounds for divorce?

-what role is there for someone who has been divorced?

- and the unmentioned - remarriage of the divorced?

It's interesting to me that some Christians who take the hardest lines on various issues of biblical interpretation are also the first to say "surely Jesus didn't mean that divorce is *only* permitted in cases of sexual immorality... what if it's a case of abuse or neglect?"

What if it is, don't we take Jesus at His word?
