PB, you should go back and dig a little deeper into the account of Jesus and the woman caught in adultery.

Closely examine what Jesus did.

Go and do likewise.

You really do want to cast that first stone, don’t you? If you were living during the time of the Puritans, you’d be the first in line to throw rotten vegetables at someone in the stockade, or lighting that match to burn someone at the stake.

But for what reason? To get them to realize the error or their ways, or to give you a reason to feel that that much better about yourself?

Neil – anyone who cannot see the literary violence and destructive verbiage in Ingrid’s post leaves me with no doubt, that person has an uncomfortably elevated view of their own divine position and a severely diminished view of their redemptive calling.

I can think of a few people who I wish had parents that remained abstinent…

You cannot teach abstinence, its impossible to be abstinent. She excused it in the first five minutes of the interview at least twice

Please forward me a copy of the shame-o-meter that would be acceptable to everyone. And if you require an admission of guilt from an 18 year old that meets all the doctrinal requirements of a sound hamartiology then you are a legalist.
