No created being can completely explore and find the exact meaning to that phrase. The image of God itself is the deepest of mysteries, and how God imprinted Himself in Adam's form may never be completely understood throughout eternity. Even marred clay has value and can be reformed, and even a fallen man has God's love in spite of His sinful predicament. It is impossible and self righteous to suggest we can address God's views of mankind in a constricted and unilateral way. The Word both suggests a sinful enemy and an object of divine love. Just an aside, you should have seen my surprise when I found out what Proverbs 31 said about womanhood. What I had always been told made me believe that it glorified Stepford wives not strong, loving, industrious women. How can we exhibit God's love if we continually fight some culture war on a moral, not spiritual, level? I want to make it clear the love of God includes homosexuals, and the gospel is meant for them as well as all us "other sinners". I am still a sinner, and although my life was changed, I can assure you I am still deceived about some of my sin. These boycotts are nothing more than self righteous conscience salves that make people like Ingrid "feel" righteous.
