Truth is truth, wherever you find it. But it doesn’t mean that source will always be truthful.

I think you intentionally left it unsaid, and let the sites you listed do the talking, that finding the truth in strange places needs to be tempered with a few other things like:

On June 13, 2007 a seminar called “‘Ikon: forging a faith community with/out God” was held in Belfast with Peter Rollins the primary speaker at the event. After his lecture he entertained some questions.

A man named Cecil Andrews from Take Heed ministries from Belfast attended the lecture. At the end Andrews gives this account:

” I pressed him (Rollins) to state whether he believed that Christ’s death was an atoning, redeeming substitutionary sacrifice to save sinners. He was honest enough to admit that he had not come to a final conclusion on that – ‘the jury was still out’.”

We need not go to Pravda for error, make your reservations for the upcoming conference “Poets, Prophets and Preachers: Recalling the Art of the Sermon.” Peter Rollins will be filling the Mars Hill pulpit.

I am sure the “jury was still out” phrase means I believe it with certainty.
