The woman is probably a committed believer, however her ordained pastor status is unbiblical and goes against the Luther article.

She is a “woman pastor“.

One of those words is not true.

I believe the modern office of Pastor is not at all biblical; not that churches should not have pastors, it’s just that the office is not biblically prescribed… it’s not unbiblical, it’s abiblical…

That makes trying to split hairs between types of pastor even more silly. Technically, Christ is the head of the church, therefore any female pastor is subject to him…

Please tell me that’s not where you’re going…

That’s the thing that always gets me in these discussions. A lot of people who supposedly think women shouldn’t be pastors have no problem with women doing all the stuff pastors do as long as they don’t have the title. Does a human-given title really matter that much in God’s eyes? It seems to me that the whole emphasis on title is really a not-to-subtle denial on the priesthood of all believers, anyway.

#14 Hypocrisy?? I don’t believe in women pastors and I will write article after article about that fact but one of my BOARD MEMBERS has a woman as an Associate Pastor. Ironic. I really really believe this sorta , kinda, maybe.
