I'd always send back a link to snopes or some other debunker site. One day I got one too many of those "send this to ten other people" emails and I responded: "Should a Christian be involved in passing on chain e-mails without first testing its truthfulness? "If Christians can be taken in by things that can be so easily proved false, how much more difficult will it be to convince an unbelieving world of a risen Savior?" The e-mails stopped soon after that. One of my Christian friends used to forward some of the most worthless emails. I’d always send back a link to snopes or some other debunker site.

“If Christians can be taken in by things that can be so easily proved false, how much more difficult will it be to convince an unbelieving world of a risen Savior?”
