And just what does the cross done by us look like? Is it someone who never defends himself? Is it someone who completely loves his enemies? Is it someone who never thinks of himself? Is it someone whose humility is palpable? And is it someone who is so like Jesus that questions about his doctrine are almost moot?

If that is doing the cross, I’d like to meet him or her. The man I meet in the mirror falls painfully short in all those areas.
